A nominee of the nationwide search for :"THE MANY FACES OF THE TEACHER (2006)"The Many Faces of the Teacher is an advocacy campaign aimed to extol the virtues of teaching by providing role models who can inspire excellence. It recognizes leaders in the teaching profession as examples of true heroes who can be a source of inspiration and knowledge for their fellow teachers and students. This is a special project of the Bato Balani Foundation.

Pamela started her ballet training at age 6 under the tutelage of Eddie Elejar and Tony Fabella at the College of the Holy Spirit, Mendiola. The Ballet school was later passed on to Theresa Mañosa Formosso. At 10, she was granted full scholarship, and at 13, was given the privilege of being an assistant ballet instructress by Ms. Formosso. She then transferred to the School of Ballet and Dance Arts, and later on became an Artist of the Company of the Dance Concert Company (DCC). It is also there where she started dancing professionally. She received training under international teachers like William Morgan, and Manny Roe. In 1988, she joined some of Philippine Ballet Theatre's productions.
She has also undergone Jazz training at the Metropolitan Theatre with Rene Hofileña, Julie Borromeo's Dance Arts, the former Hotlegs dance school in Makati, and with Powerdance, in Edsa Shangri-la.
From 1986 to 1995, she taught ballet at the Goldcrest Dance Workshop, and at the same time took classes with Ms. Josette Salang, who also trained her for London's Royal Academy of Dance (R. A. D.) Ballet Syllabus. In 1998, she attended the seminar given by the Philippine National Ballet Syllabus. In May 2010, she took the intensive course seminar of the Chechetti Dance Syllabus, (Italian method) and she is currently applying these techniques with her students.
She also taught at the Pink Toes Center for the Performing Arts Antipolo, Aerobics 'R Fun Quad , Aerobics 'R Fun EDSA Shangri – La, and at St. Paul College, Pasig.
She was the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Ballet Academies, Philippines (ABAP) in 2005.
As a ballet teacher, Pamela uses the Russian Based (Vaganova) method of teaching ballet. She has completed the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet (ACB) teaching seminar (which is based on the Russian Vaganova) for levels Pre-Primary up to Senior Level 1 and has passed her students 100% on all the exams taken from April 1997 up to the present, under author and International Ballerina Christine Walsh, A.M. In April 1999, she went to Melbourne Australia to attend an intensive training conducted by the ACB, and in 2001, she had the privilege to observe and learn the teaching techniques of ballet schools all over Los Angeles, California, USA. In May and June of 2005, she brought her students to Melbourne Australia to avail of the scholarship granted by ACB, Melbourne. In May and June of 2006, she brought some of her students to the Hongkong Academy for the Performing Arts. In 2007, Teacher Pam was given a GRANT by the National Ballet Syllabus, Inc. She attended a study tour to the very prestigious Beijing Dance Academy. She was assigned as the Tour Manager and brought twelve (12) chosen teachers from all over the Philippines for this very privileged educational tour.
In 2008, with her partner Teacher Brezh, they brought students to Iloilo to attend a workshop at the Claravall-Gonzalez School of Ballet. They conducted Classical Ballet, Contemporary Ballet, European Character Dances, Aqua Limber, Jazz, and Yoga classes. After which, they travelled toBoracay for a performance at the La Carmella Resort wherein the performers where highly applauded by foreign and local guests. In 2009, they brought their students to Cebu for a 2 week rigid training with Atlanta Ballet's Premier Danseur, Mr. Nicholas Pacaña and Mr. Gregg Aaron. In April 2010, she organized the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet's Summer Workshop 2010. This was attended by 135 students all over the Philippines.
She has attended workshops conducted by International artists like, premiere danseur Nicholas Pacaña, Atlanta Ballet's prima ballerina Maniya Barredo, Ex-San Francisco Ballet's Principal Dancer Tina Santos , RAD Examiner and Canadian Ballet School's Master Dance Teacher Teresa Randall , Isadora Duncan Awardee Enrico Labayen, New Zealander Declan Patrick, and most recently, with the principal dancer of Les Ballet Trocadero de Monte Carlo of New York, Carlos Garcia.
Pamela also does stage acting. Father James B. Reuter S.J. has chosen her to be his choreographer for most of his plays. She was one of the leads of Fr. Reuter's Philippine Centennial Youth Delegates, who in 1997, traveled all over the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Czechoslovakia (Prague and Litomerice), Vienna Austria and the Philippines, presenting the history of the Philippines in a Dance Drama. She worked with Fr. Reuter re-staging "Fiddler on the Roof,' with veteran actor Subas Herrero as the main character, Tevye . In 2004, she did the choreography for the Centennial presentation of The St. Paul de Chartes Philippine Congregation, re-staged "The Night Before Christmas" for the December 2005 Production of St. Paul University, Quezon City. In 2009,She collaborated with St. Paul University, Manila for a Play entitled "Our Children's Children," this is for their Centennial Celebration in 2012.
Pam is also a Creative Movements teacher for Sacred Heart School in Edsa Shangri-La and Forbes Park, Makati, Children's Collaborative Center in New Manila, Q.C., First Step in Mandaluyong, and Creative Play Corner (CPC) in Dasmariñas, Makati.
Aside from all these dance achievements, Pamela is a Doctor Dental Medicine specializing in Orthodontics and was a member of the board of Directors of the Paranaque Dental Chapter in 2009.
